Our aim is to remove these concerns through an easy to understand, plain-English policy statement covering all contingencies. COPYRIGHT POLICY
Michael White asserts his copyright on all his images and reserves all rights in relation to them. Images from Michael White Art in any form always remain the intellectual property of the artist and are subject to comprehensive international copyright protection. They may not be photographed or otherwise copied, printed, emailed, digitally altered or reproduced in any way except by the explicit prior approval in writing of the artist. Unauthorised use in this respect will regrettably result in the full application of available penalties. Reasonable non-commercial photography requests, for personal or insurance purposes, may be considered.

PRIVACY & SECURITY POLICY
Absolute respect for our customer's confidentiality is the cornerstone of our policy values. When you purchase from Michael White Art, we utilise industry standard (SSL) encryption and real time electronic funds transfer. To guarantee secure operation, this requires us to ask a minimum of information from you. This information is never made available to any third party for any purpose whatsoever.

DELIVERY & FREIGHT POLICY
Delivery Time:
Gallery purchase ~ We ask that you please allow 14 days from the date of purchase for delivery within Australia and another 21 days for delivery overseas; and we undertake to clearly inform you of this at the time of purchase.

Online purchase (Prints, Greeting Cards & Retrospective Catalogue) ~ For overseas purchases you will receive from us by email within 4 working days of the date of purchase our best estimate of delivery time to you, in your country of residence. For purchases within Australia, 14 days from the day of purchase is normally allowed and we undertake to inform you promptly if a longer delivery is foreseen.

Online purchase (Gift Vouchers only) ~  For purchases within Australia, 4 days from the day of purchase is normally allowed. *This product is available within Australia only.

Freight & Delivery Rates:
For paintings (overseas and within Australia) ~ Please contact us and we will calculate the dispatch cost and notify you prior to dispatch. Freight costs are payable by a separate telephone credit card transaction.

For prints (unframed) ~ Dispatch costs will depend on the destination, with variable rates for national and international shipping, and they are included in the final price displayed in your shopping cart.

For greeting cards (gift boxed) & retrospective catalogue ~ Dispatch costs will depend on the destination, with variable rates for national and international shipping, and they are included in the final price displayed in your shopping cart.

For gift vouchers (within Australia only) ~ Dispatch costs will depend on the destination, with rates for Sydney & Metropolitan areas and interstate shipping, and they are included in the final price displayed in your shopping cart.

Packing:
For paintings (overseas delivery) ~ International dispatch will be through the global courier company, DHL, with goods packed securely and professionally. An insurance levy of 3% of the painting price will apply. We guarantee secure packing of goods at the point of departure and a personal inspection to ensure this. Michael White Art cannot assume responsibility for general damage in transit. However, in the unlikely event of total loss or destruction due to carrier mishap, we ask that you contact us to discuss appropriate arrangements.

For paintings (within Australia) ~ Paintings will be securely packed and delivered by courier or Michael White Art. No insurance costs will be levied, unless requested by you.

For prints (Overseas and Australia delivery) ~ Framed prints are not normally shipped overseas. However, the facility exists to discuss a separate arrangement - please contact us and we will call or email you within 4 working days to discuss your requirements. Within Australia, the same arrangements as for paintings will normally apply; unframed prints will be shipped in a secure, sealed heavy-duty tube and shipped by Australia Post.

For greeting cards (gift boxed) &  retrospective catalogue (Overseas and Australia delivery) ~ Goods will be securely packed and delivered by courier or Australia Post.

For gift vouchers (within Australia only) ~ Goods will be securely packed and posted via Australia Post (registered mail).

REFUND & RETURN POLICY
We regret that we are unable to offer refunds in the event of a change of mind but we do offer the provision of a separate agreement with Michael White Art to cover this eventuality (please contact us to discuss this option, if required).
